The guest list for the popular Rügen talk is: MDR-presenter André Holst welcomes this time among others the Schlager cult singer Thomas Lück, who was born in Dranske on the island of Rügen. This year’s show talk is celebrating its 20th birthday. The event starts on May 22nd at 8pm at the Private Palace Arkona Strandhotel in Binz (Strandpromenade 59).
Thomas Lück is especially known for his humorous songs, such as “where the snow comes from Kilimanjaro” – and for his wives. He was dating from 1967 to 1970 with Petra Kush-Lück, from 1970 to 1975 with Aurora Lacasa and from 1975 to 1976 with Nina Hagen.
Other guests of the evening are the Schlager duo “Birgit Langer & Andrea” as well as singer Robin Eichinger, who in the past year has been a big hit on “Germany seeking the superstar”. The journalist and entrepreneur Oliver Dunk presents with Alva a musical surprise guest. In addition, Ralph Glomp, who has gained international renown with his songs in the language of the plan, has pledged.
Money for charitable projects on the island of Rügen
As always, admission to the Rügen talk costs ten euros. The money flows completely and without deductions into charitable projects on the island of Rügen. Last year, the show talk brought together over 5,000 euros. The money came from young football learners of the 1st FC Binz, the music school Vorpommern with the regional office Rügen/Bergen, the Volunteer fire Brigade Lietzow and the figure Theatre artist Birgit Schuster.
A special arrangement is available this time: for only ten euros extra, guests of the Rügen talk can put together a dish at the gala buffet of the private Palace Arkona Beach Hotel before the event. A soft drink is included in the price.
