The show talk with MDR-Presenter André Holst at the Private Palace Arkona Strandhotel last year brought in more than 5000 euros of money – the next Rügen talk will take place on May 22nd.

Binz. When Ralf Reinbold opens the envelope, he can barely grasp his luck. “I have goose bumps,” said the chairman of the 1st FC Binz. The football club is one of the beneficiaries who participate in the donations of the Rügen Talk. “We will be buying new training and playing clothes for our F-juniors,” said Ralf Reinbold. In total, the show talk with MDR moderator André Holst last year brought in over 5000 euros in donations.

“We are pleased to have the Rügen Talk in our house – and thus contribute to the well-being of the general public”, explained Birte Löhr, General Director of the Private Palace Arkona Strandhotel. For 20 years now there has been the Rügen talk – all entrance fees go completely to charitable projects on the island of Rügen.

In addition to the young football learners of the 1st FC Binz, the music school Vorpommern also rejoiced with the regional office Rügen/Bergen, the Volunteer fire brigade Lietzow and character Theatre player Birgit Schuster on the generous donations.

The sponsoring association of the Music School in Bergen wants to use the money for the purchase of a wing. “We save for this instrument in our hall – about 30,000 euros costs a good, used wing. Our former is broken, ” said head Rita Mau. In addition, the donation for orchestra and competition trips of young musicians will be used. “This allows us to relieve parents who are not financially bedded on roses.”

The Litzower military leader Lars Risk already has precise ideas as to where the grant from the Rügen talk will flow. “It is still a long way off, but we are planning a new equipment house – for this we can make good use of the financial support. It’s a ground floor. ”

Figure Theatre player Birgit Schuster also knows exactly what she is using the Rügen talk donations for. After her camp for dolls, sets and props was burned out last winter, she is now in the process of creating a lot of new things and creating them. “I have received a lot of support from many sides – that gives me energy and strength.”

Meanwhile, preparations for the second “Rügen talk” of this year are already underway at the private Palace Arkona Strand Hotel. On May 22nd, MDR-presenter André Holst will again welcome celebrities at 8pm to chat with them. The entrance fees (ten euros per person) will benefit as always charitable projects on the island of Rügen.
